Duties / Responsibilities
The IDB works to recruit new
industry and works helping the existing
industry in Chilton County. They
identify, maintain, and provide records
 of available buildings and new sites for
prospects and developers who have
interest in locating a new business to
Chilton County.
They update and provide community
profiles and data information about
Chilton County to the Alabama
Development Office, ADECA, CAWACO, RC&D,
Birmingham Regional Planning Commission,
Metropolitan Development Board, Alabama
Power and many others.  The IDB networks
with the Chamber of Commerce, local
mayors, and others to promote Chilton
County at all times.
